A standout on the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA)
circuit, Blasberg was a three-time first-team Polo
All-American, a member of the 2002 Canon Cup and winner
of the 2002 Rolex Tournament of Champions. She was a
medalist at the 2000 U.S. Junior Girls' Amateur
Championship and has competed in five U.S. Women's
Amateur Championships, where she was a quarterfinalist
in 2003. Blasberg was a member of the victorious 2004
Curtis Cup team. While at the University of Arizona,
Blasberg was a two-time All-American from 2003-04, 2003
NCAA Freshman of the Year, 2003 Pac-10 Player of the
Year and recorded six collegiate tournament wins. In
2003, Blasberg carded a 64 during the second round of
the Welch's/Fry's Championship, where she was competing
on a sponsor's exemption, and tied for 49th.
In 2004, turned professional in June; played on the
Futures Tour, where she recorded four top-10 finishes in
eight events, including a win at the Laconia Savings
Bank Futures Golf Classic; tied for 32nd at the LPGA
Final Qualifying Tournament Presented by American
Airlines to earn non-exempt status for the 2005
